5 things we should be grateful for...

assalamualaikum wbt

yup. there are some things we overlooked when we are feeling thankful and grateful. and I'm writing this is actually as a reminder for myself. when someone did something to me just now, I realized almost everything about my life now. and now, I'm writing this so that I can share these things with everyone.

FIRST, our life. now that we are alive, we should always be grateful to our God that we are alive today. for when they are someone, somewhere, their lives had been taken from them, leaving only their rigid bodies, they didn't have the time to say, "Thank you for my life." and it's kinda hurtful when someone says, "I hate my life." or "My life is so boring." or "I hope that I have a life like yours." well, THESE PEOPLE have no respect of their own precious lives. every life is unique. every life is important. every life is precious. just stop right now and be grateful and say "Thank you for I am alive." you would not know when your life will be taken from you. this life is temporary. live on and fly. when things got out of hand, find another way to live. when things are too great, be thankful and silent. never boast and proud.

SECOND, our religion. why? without religion, no matter your a Muslim, a Christian, a Buddhist or a Hindu or any religion, without it, you are LOST. without it, you don't have any principle in life. you would do anything freely and without hesitation. sometimes it is good, but most of the time, it's fatal. you would go running around naked, or be a homosexual without caring about anything, or you would jump a cliff for no reason. with religion, you would have something to tell your conscience not to do stupid and idiotic things. even though I am a Muslim, I know that each and every other religions will tell you that being homo is bad, killing yourself is bad, and committing sins are bad. I am a Muslim and I am grateful to be one. and so do you. you SHOULD be grateful that you are what you are. religion is what making us walk straight on a winding path.

THIRD, our family. ESPECIALLY our parents. love your family as they are always there for you. without them, you would not be here on this world. your family is the first one to greet you when you were born on this earth. your family is the first teacher you have. your family is the first friend you make. without them, you would not be here. without them, you are lonely. be grateful to them. thank them. cherish them. you would not know when they are gone forever from your life. wish for them happiness and a good life. to those who have lost their family members, pray for them, never forget them.

FOURTH, our friends. other than our family, they are the ones who we should be thankful also. when our families aren't there for us, friends will always be there. some friends are good and some are bad and some are half-half. every friend has their own advantages and goodness in them. a good friend will help you to learn love, friendship and loyalty. a bad friend will teach you the importance of friendship, whom to trust and nothing-is-always-good-in-this-world lesson. good or bad, they are still our friends. unless, they are trying to kill you, then you can consider them something else. but nevertheless, they ARE friends and friends understand each other. "it isn't about who came first. it's about who came and never left."

FIFTH, last and definitely not the very least, people around us. just imagine you are living in a world where there are no one else except you. how would you feel? how would you be like? who would you become? will you be the same? actually, the people around us are the ones who shape us to what we are now. without their mouths, you would just be as pure as it can be. I am not blaming them, it's just, without them, we wouldn't learn about other stuff. would we be able to learn so much thing -from maths, chem, bio, phys, psychology, etc- by ourselves? without others, the mathematicians, physicians, psychologist, archaeologist and others, you wouldn't know the secret of the universe and such. without the bad guys, we wouldn't know what is bad and what is good. what are crimes and what are murders.

in a nutshell, we should be grateful for everything and never to complain anything. even though they are someone who we don't know. just say thanks to everyone and smile. I think that is all from me. daa~
