Of Raging Storms and Unexpected Rainbows
Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and hola peeps!
Amidst the scorching sun and heat, lies invisible storms and rain.
Actually this blog post is somehow a continuation or an extraction of a previous (unpublished) blog post of mine, talking about being open. The thing about being open is, it is easier said than done. I would know, 'cause I've been through so many events and occasions in my life that needed me to be open and considerate. Being open is the same as being optimistic towards anything that is in your way and life.
Sometimes, we Muslims need to think about things that happen and besiege upon as tests from Him because He wants to see whether we can seriously be strong enough to overcome and handle it. But if we believe in Him, we would know that Allah swt will not give us tests that are greater than what we can handle. He knows us well 'cause He's The Almighty and The All-Knowing.
I know sometimes we think that the obstacle in front of us is bigger than what we thought we can handle, but if we don't try, we would not know. Stop thinking things are always impossible. Honestly, we can seriously control things around us with just our minds. Not saying that we have like telekinetic powers or something, it's just that we are able to change things when we set our minds differently. We assume things are difficult because we think them as difficult things to handle. Try thinking things the other way around. Think of them as something easy. Think outside of the box. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. Maybe it is meant to be something else. Maybe it is meant to be punched by you.
Strong positive mindset can be a lethal weapon to be used when it comes to difficult times. It can help you in thinking things straight and not be bothered by the difficulty of things. Try thinking negative on something for once. You would seriously feel burdened on the thought itself, set aside the unsolved problems. Because you keep on thinking what it would bring upon you when it comes. I know it is hard 'cause I'm thinking from experience myself. I hurt myself in the process of altering negative thoughts into positive thinking. Mentally and emotionally.
So, what I've been meaning to say here is that try to think things in a positive way. Don't cloud your judgment and thinking with negative and bad vibes. Everything starts with a mindset. If you think of it as hard, then hard it will be. If you think of it as easy peasy, then a piece of cake it will be for you to overcome. Try. Who knows it would change your views on things from now on (just like what I've been experiencing in my life). Smile.
