expect. expecting. expectation.

Expectation…

expect. what do you always expect? is it a thing? do you want it from someone? sometimes, we expect something great from someone. although that someone has done nothing to you, you would always want to expect from that someone. whether that person is your classmate, colleague, acquaintance, friend, and even your best friend, you would always expect something.

expectation is like climbing a tall mountain. we won’t know what’s on the other side until you have reached a peak. reaching the peak has many challenges and hindrances along the way. but in the end, what's on the top that counts whether it is a cliff with bottomless end or a hidden floral plain with sweet fragrance.

expecting something would end up in either a happy or sad ending, depending on the situation you are in.

if you chose to expect something great from someone you trust and in the end, that someone would just escape from the expectation and that would seriously hurt you in the end. not just mentally, emotionally as well, in terms of your psychological state. it would leave a great impact on your who-to-trust list and ruined it.

on the other hand, if what you expect came true, that bravo. standing ovation for you. but this one barely and rarely happens in life. yes, life. but don't worry, you can choose what life do you actually want, if you can persevere.

real expectation lies from the heart, where all the blood are pumped to all parts of the body, of course. but when we felt disappointed and sad and nervous and scared, the heart will be the one who does all the work, pumping the blood harder and sending the appropriate hormones to the respective parts. when that happens, the heart will soon be tired from exhaustion and weakened. that's when we feel our heart ache.

when we expect, and the expectation didn't reach the peak, that is when your trust towards people be faltered. you will start to lose the trust-in-people in you. social introvert. one-man island. alone. that is what you will be. an odd-one-out. a black sheep. an alien. . .
