what does it mean by 'having a family...?'
bismillahirahmanirahim...
someone asked me in the past, "...why are you being unfair to your family?! you even fight with your siblings, but when you are with your friends, you're such a goodie-two-shoes!"
honestly, I am like that... why?
because I know that when you fight with your family, sometimes, most of the times you can always make up again. just like the Malay proverb goes,
the literal meaning of the proverb is when you pluck the chicken's feathers, in the end, they will stick again. but the implicit meaning of this proverb is whenever or whatever fights you might have with someone, especially your family, you would certainly make up again with them.
your family is the very first group to be with you from the earliest part of your life till now. when you were born in this world, a couple of people, lovely and loving people would be there for you to catch you—well of course that the doctor would catch you literally, but... you know what I mean. your parents. yes, them. then because of them also you have siblings—those who would care for and love you.
but sometimes, siblings can be a pain in the neck—and I'm one of them! *winks* they ought to cause fights and quarrels and such, but I know that in the end, you would make up again with each other. why? because you're a FAMILY! what other reasons do you need?
I don't know the real reason for the common make-up between family members is, but from what I understand, family members, they can't just not talk to each other for a very long time, some, not to say all family. but for my family, we always fight with each other. but then we would be friends again—well literally, family again. I fight with them even the smallest thing, but with that 'fight' or 'quarrel', I learn a new thing—a thing that I should not do again in the near future. period.
another logic of mine that I thought of myself is that if you keep quarreling with your family, you would never ever and ever fall in love with them, because it would cause incest. yeah I know right? I mean—guys! I know that it is damn stupidous but—I thought of this while I was still in my secondary school! maybe I was 'that' naive back then lol. ignore me. please. this is embarrassing! ah! shoo~
then I would think again—okay now this thought is a 'lil bit mature than the before—if I would quarrel with a friend—which I did in the past and I regretted it so so so much!—the possibility of making up is lower. because we are just friends. not like family. as one once said:
okay, now I have another thing that I truly understand. before I was like 'what the heck does that quote even mean?!' and now I understand it! yeah! *high five the air* *forever alone* okay, back to the topic. if with your family, you are going to meet them again later in the day and sooner or later, you seriously need to talk to each other. seriously. nothing can separate you and your family—except Allah of course. all you need to do is just to love your family. and I do love mine. LOTS! I love you, daddy! I love you, mummy! I love you, Bang Long! I love you, Kak Long! I love you, Kak Ngah! I love you, Wan! I love everyone! hehee :3 *spreading the love virus to everyone* BBYE! XD
